Hi, I'm Leisha Nissley

I'm a pianist and studio owner in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area. I grew up in Rockingham County and was taught piano at a very young age. I've had piano playing experience for 15 years and have accompanied choirs, band ensembles and solo musicians. I primarily play solo and have a passion for teaching music. I'm a current student at Bridgewater College taking piano lessons under Dr. Larry Taylor and working on my Bachelor's in music education. I'm also a member of the Harrisonburg Music Teachers Association which provides many professional resources for piano teachers in the area. I also teach from an injury preventative perspective and have an interdisciplinary or holistic approach that incorporates not just music techniques but history, auditory training, technology and more.

Soy una pianista y dueña del estudio de piano en Harrisonburg/Rockingham County. Yo vivo en Rockingham County y me enseñaron el piano muy joven. Yo tengo 15 años de experiencia y acompañada coros, ensembles de banda y musicos solo. Ante de todo, yo toco el piano solo y tengo un pasión por enseñando musica. Estoy un estudiante de Bridgewater College y un miembro de la Asociacion de Profesores de Musica de Harrisonburg. Yo enseño de un perspectivo de prevención de lesiones y tengo un enfoque holistico que incorporar no solomente tecnicas de musica pero tambien historia, entrentamiento auditorio, tecnología y mas. Tambien, estoy proficiente en español, y ofrezco clases de piano por estudiantes de habla hispana.
